For my master’s thesis, I’m currently working on a graphic novel about my father and his story of how he fled from Iran to Germany.
He was a volleyball player in Iran, and his only dream was to play freely without the regime watching him. He had several occasions where he was caught by the police.
Although his story can be sad, there are also many humorous elements in the way he tells it.
